Kenyan born Justin Gichobi studied in Cape Town where he obtained his Bachelor;s Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. followed by a Master's Degree in Applied Sciences.

He worked for many years in Cape Town as an environmental consultant, carrying out environmental impact assessments, advising on environmentally acceptable construction management, and managing construction sites for compliance with environmental best practice.

As well as practicing as an environmental consultant, Justin also teaches at Mombasa University.  He has been involved in several high profile projects including the Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town, which was developed for the 2010 World Cup.  In Rwanda he undertook, for Studio 4,  the environmental impact assessment for the IPRC Kikukiro master plan, training hotel and hospitality school and formulated the construction environment management plan.
